Travel Accident Insurance

Coverage for wherever you go

From the commonwealth’s rural schools and back roads to its urban centers and major highways, Pennsylvania is an expansive and diverse state. While serving your district as a school director, it is likely that you will travel around the state, or even throughout the country, to conduct your work. Whether traveling to an advocacy event, school board meeting or district function, it is vital to be able to focus on what matters most. That is why PSBA Insurance proudly partners with The Prudential Insurance Company of America to offer exceptional Travel Accident Insurance coverage to the commonwealth’s school board directors, district administration and all employees.

As a “thank you” for your service, all member School Directors are automatically covered with a complimentary $150,000 death benefit while traveling to and from board-sponsored meetings. Additionally, members serving on Vocational-Technical or Intermediate Unit boards are covered. School Directors have the option to purchase an upgrade to 24-hour coverage as well as insuring their spouse and children.
